Oil mills broke the ceiling and agreed an increase of 19%

The Workers' Federation of the Oleaginoso Industrial Complex managed to break the government's salary schedule, by signing a 19% wage increase with the business chambers, retroactive to January 1st.

The agreement was approved in the Ministry Work between the guild and the CIARA, CIAVEC and CARBIO chambers, after overcoming a conflict that takes three months of discussions and measures of force.

The union and the businessmen also agreed to set the amount of $ 26,987 non-remunerative annual for participation in the business profits that oil workers receive since 2010.

According to the joint agreement, the initial salary of the activity, will change from $ 25,000 to $ 29,750 , which represents an improvement of 19% and to which a plus for presenteeism of $ 690 per month will be added.

After the negotiations it was established that the increase will be applied retroactively to January 1 despite the fact that the previous parity was valid until March 31.

The salaries of the rest of the agreement categories will be raised by the same percentage a $ 32.242 (BF); $ 35.272 (CG) and $ 38.611 (categories D and H).

The salary increase, which will benefit some 20,000 workers from all over the country, managed to overcome the 15% ceiling that the government seeks to impose in the joint negotiations as it did with the unions of Sanitary Works, Commerce, the UTA and railroads, among others, although with a trigger clause to update.
