5,274 new cases and 62 deaths were registered
The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this afternoon 5,274 new cases of coronavirus throughout the country so the total number of infections rises to 1,494,602, of which 123,774 are active cases.
In addition, 62 new deaths were registered since the last report and the total number of deaths rises to 40,668. It involves 38 men and 23 women.
Regarding the provincial distribution, the cases are distributed as follows: Buenos Aires 1686, City of Buenos Aires 386, Catamarca 55, Chaco 200, Chubut 229, Corrientes 64, Córdoba 291, Entre Ríos 246 , Formosa 0, Jujuy 9, La Pampa 91, La Rioja 18, Mendoza 111, Misiones 19, Neuquén 126, Río Negro 220, Salta 29, San Juan 47, San Luis 19, Santa Cruz 229, Santa Fe 893, Santiago del Estero 42, Tierra del Fuego 93 and Tucumán 171.
The Province of Buenos Aires leads the list of infections with 637,159 cases, followed by the City of Buenos Aires with 162,563.
Meanwhile, there are 3,594 patients with coronavirus who are hospitalized in intensive care throughout the country, while the occupancy of critical beds is 59.2% in AMBA and 54.8% in throughout the country.
In the last 24 hours 27,204 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak, 4,237,401 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out, equivalent to 93,382 samples per million inhabitants.
