Guzmán will travel to Washington in March to see the IMF
Economy Minister Martín Guzmán will travel to Washington between the second and third week of March. The date was confirmed to Ámbito last night by sources close to the minister and promises to consolidate itself as a milestone in the negotiation that the Argentine Government already maintained with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the last hours, IMF sources told Ámbito that the dialogue with the government is "fluid and constructive", although they did not advance in what stage of the talks they are. Strictly speaking, a third formal mission was announced by IMF spokesman Gerry Rice last January, as a result of progress in the Fund's negotiations. However, so far there are no concrete news in this regard, while the maturity calendar continues its course.
